• With 6 new HIGH-SPEED (to 32,000 rpm and 15 feet in length) 4/5/6 axis CNC Machining Centers, B&R has the capacity for large and small requirements. Our expertise in high-speed machining enables the manufacture of new thin wall monolithic structural parts that are now common in new generations of aircraft.
• Our assembly department has grown to 6,000 sq. ft. with additional expansion possible. The complexity of our assemblies has risen to Level 2. In-house treatments include NDT, Anodize, Alodine, prime and paint. This allows greater control of nearly all processes and shortens lead times.
• The products we manufacture include large bulkheads, floors, frames and many smaller parts such as flight controls, bell cranks, and more. Many are designated light Critical. The materials used include titanium, inconel, nearly all ferrous and non-ferrous steels and aluminum of all types. We offer kitting services as well.
• A computerized shop-control system uses bar-coded shop travelers and provides real time status on all parts in our facility. We receive and acknowledge purchase contracts and technical data electronically using a variety of systems. Our CAD/CAM systems include CATIA, PRO E and Mastercam.
• TSLI is certified to the Management Systems Standard : ISO 9001:2000 and EN/JISQ/AS9100:2004 for the manufacture and assembly of aerospace structures and frames.
